Stuff I've Done

As a bumbling Brit, self-promotion doesn't always come easy, although even having a blog is obviously an indication that I'm vainer and more of a show off than many of my countrymen. So, y'know, here are a few things I've worked on recently (subliminal message: BUY MY BOOKS)...

Those talented Domestic Sluttery ladies have brought out this book, Cheat Your Way To The Perfect Lifestyle, which contains me on flea market bargains and how to buy vintage to suit your shape. So far, so cliche - but I did get disco flares and Maggie Thatcher into the same sentence, so I think I did OK.

I also contributed to the V&A's book, The A to Z of Style, an elegant stocking filler full of inspirational quotes from all those tastemakers who have been overlooked by history, like Ginette Spanier (her book It Isn't All Mink is a funny and insightful piece of grande dame bitchery). I wrote a piece for Yahoo on this season's crazy prints. I can't take the credit for 'chazza' though, Yahoo - it's a well-known term.

Want even more me (i.e. are you my mother? Hi mum!)? Remember that photoshoot Isabelle, Caroline and I did for Chris Floyd last year?

The 140 Characters exhibition is at the Foto8 gallery until November 17th - can't wait to see this!
