Pale September

Oh dear. I never wanted to be one of those bloggers, the ones that begin a post by apologising for how absent they've been, but after two weeks (the shame, the shame) it's unavoidable. So what's my excuse? What have I been doing this September that's better than blogging?

I moved house. Again. Why, yes, that is twice in three months. It's worth it though, because my new place is lovely and perfectly placed for Stoke Newington's enormous new Beyond Retro (more on that soon) and a brilliant cafe that seems to be themed around Victorian mice.

I went to Pamflet's craft-themed Salon, saw Jurassic Park at the BFI IMAX, ate enormous amounts of mac'n'cheese at Spuntino, and debated the rights and wrongs of social networks monetising our friendships at Future Human.

I also spent quite a lot of time looking at this coat and wishing it was red or green. Oh, go on, ASOS.

And I've also begun the Curtis Brown creative course, which I hope kicks my ass and weds me to my desk from now until Christmas. It's looking hopeful so far.

  1. I love that coat, it's very you. I need to come and have a day out in your hood soon, BR and VM cafe et al.
