Eleven Objects

The circularity of Fashion (the kind that refers to itself with a capital) always amazes me, and sometimes the thing that goes around and comes around is more welcome than others. Thanks to my Mad Men hips, I can take or leave trouser suits, but dresses, brogues and Peter Pan collars can stay forever, thanks.

I heard about Eleven Objects on White Lightning's instagram (follow her, it's a world of Tavi and Prada lip print pleat skirts) and fell head over heels for this new New York label's detachable collars.

 

Obviously, it helps that this model has both my exact dream look and my exact dream top/dress (where is it from?!) but look! Spangled edge collars...

 ...Terminator-style blinged out collars...

...their version of plain (my kind of girls) is leopard print with red...

 

...and a ladylike camel with brass studs.

 

If I was writing in a women's mag, I'd say that you could 'pair' them with both plain tees and dressier items. As I'm writing here, I'll just say you'll probs see me wearing one with a trouser suit in six months.
