Woefully expensive (£48 from Space NK), but worth it when you can't work out why people keep looking at you on the street. I thought I had a smudge on my face yesterday, and then a man at a bus stop turned, thoughtfully, and said "you smell amazing". Thanks, Diptyque.

Wow, that's some compliment! I've always looked at the bottle but never sniffed it (is sniffed the right word??). I recently got a gin/rosewater perfume and I love when people mention it :)

I've heard only good things about the perfumes in Space NK - Especially the Apothecary range. But I've never sniffed (definitely the right word) because you always have to ask for them - there are never any out on the counter. Then I feel obliged to tell the shop person what I think, ask for another one, do it all over again - I don't like the forced interaction at the best of times, but especially when it comes to perfume.
