So I spent the weekend hanging out with the hummus-munching masses at Latitude. You can always tell what a festival's like by the food stands; the Glastonbury of the olden days just had nasty noodles and here, the first place I saw was some kind of grown-up hippie wagon called Halloumination. I think this is the only picture I've got where it's not raining:
There was mud, a child-size cagoule (amazing word), bands, cider, discos and a midnight helter skelter ride (with cider). Lots of fun, although today's been kind of a struggle.
Also, if you follow me on Twitter, you're probably still hating me for watching all of Twin Peaks in one month (30 episodes; February was so good) and tweeting about it quite a lot. No blog I do is ever going to do justice to this awesome TV show, but I wrote this on Yahoo about Audrey Horne's pure prep/Fifties bombshell look. What a babe.

She's a total babe. Love her.
ReplyDeleteJealous of you going to Latitude - I've only been once and I was working for Oxfam there but it was so much fun!
I wanted Audrey's hair/face/outfits/attitude so badly as a kid! I was actually quite disappointed when Dale went for Annie instead (though that turned out quite lucky for Audrey...)
