Last weekend, I ambled over to Clapton to check out Chatsworth Road market. It's a small but perfectly formed mini market with a tenth of the bustle and half the cost of Columbia Road.
We found bric-a-brac stalls with pretty kitchen equipment and old magazines...
... and cheap, tasty market food from the obligatory gourmet coffees...
...to this colourful platter of Persian goodies.
Round the corner, there's a vintage yard with trunks, typewriters, stripy blouses, and lots of metallic dancing heels.
But I took home some smaller spoils; beautiful pale blue Sixties glasses, only £9 for a set of six.
Chatsworth Road market's on every other Sunday - and the next is this weekend.

V jealous of the glassware.

Cool thanks for this - as Columbia Road on a Sunday is starting to drive me a little bit loco.
